Who runs this
sedance is operated by Djali et fils LLC, a manager-managed limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States under filing ID 2026-001899332, at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Written enquiries reach us at support@sedance.app.
We are not ByteDance
Independent product. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ByteDance Ltd. Seedance is a trademark of its respective owner. We are a customer of the model provider, exactly as you would be if you integrated the API yourself. We use the name “Seedance” only descriptively, to say which model ran a given generation — never as our own brand.
You can go direct if you prefer: BytePlus ModelArk sells the same access. What we add is one credit balance across the studio and the API, published per-second costs, failure handling that refunds you automatically, and a per-job ceiling so a mis-set duration cannot turn into a surprise invoice.
Sedance, Seedance, SeedDance, Seed Dance
Same thing — you are in the right place. ByteDance spells the model family “Seedance”; our domain drops an e. People search every one of those spellings and they all mean the same models.
What we publish, and how sure we are about it
This category moves weekly, and most numbers in circulation are restated press releases. We separate the two everywhere: a capability we have not confirmed against the provider API is labelled claimed rather than verified, on the model page itself. Where we publish a cost or a latency, we say whether it came from our own measurement or from a vendor’s rate card.
