Terms of Service

1. The service

sedance provides access to third-party video-generation models through a web studio and a REST API. We are an independent reseller. Independent product. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ByteDance Ltd. Seedance is a trademark of its respective owner.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account and your API keys. Registering an account is free; generation is not — there is no free tier and no trial credits.

3. Credits

One credit represents one US cent of retail value. Credits included with a subscription expire at the end of each billing period. Credits bought in a pack do not expire. Spending draws down expiring subscription credits first, then the oldest pack.

Credits are a prepayment for services — not money, not a deposit, and not transferable between accounts. They have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash except where law requires it.

4. What a generation costs, and when we refund

The credit cost of a generation is shown before you start it and reserved when you do. On success we settle against that reservation and return any difference.

We refund the reservation in full if the generation fails upstream, times out, is cancelled before it completes, or is rejected by a content check. We do not refund a generation that completed successfully but that you did not like. The compute was bought and spent on your instruction. Generative video is iterative — expect several attempts per usable clip, and draft short before committing to length.

5. Your uploads

You warrant that for every image, video and audio file you upload as a reference, you either own the rights or hold a licence covering this use. You must not upload:

• footage, stills or audio you have no right to use, including film, television and music clips;
• the likeness, voice or performance of a real person without their documented consent;
• anything depicting a minor in a sexual context, which we report as the law requires;
• material whose generation or storage would be unlawful where you or we operate.

You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to store the file, transmit it to the model provider, and screen it for policy compliance.

6. Your output

As between you and us, output generated from your prompts is yours, and paid plans include commercial use. That grant is limited by what we ourselves hold: your rights are subject to the upstream model provider’s terms, which apply to you as an end user of that model.

We do not warrant that output is original, non-infringing, or fit for any purpose. Generative models can reproduce protected material. Clearing the output for your intended use is your responsibility.

7. Acceptable use

Our content policy forms part of these terms. We screen prompts, uploads and output, and may reject, remove or refuse to deliver anything that breaches it. Repeated or serious breaches end the account.

8. Availability

The service depends on third-party model providers and carries no uptime guarantee. We may pause generation to protect the service, and we apply per-account concurrency, daily spend and per-job cost limits. Where a limit stops a job, no credits are charged.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, for suspected fraud or payment reversal, or where required by law. On closure for breach, unused credits are forfeit; otherwise unused pack credits may be refunded under the refund policy.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Djali et fils LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; material changes are posted here with a new date, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
