Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account — email address, an optional name, and a hash of your password. The password itself is never stored.
• Usage — your prompts, settings, uploaded reference files and generated output, with the credits each generation cost.
• Billing — a customer identifier and payment status from our payment processor. Card numbers never reach our servers.
• Abuse signals — a coarse network prefix and a device fingerprint at signup, used only to stop one person taking many free grants.

Why we hold it

To run and bill the service accurately (performance of our contract with you); to keep the credit ledger auditable and to prevent fraud and abuse (our legitimate interests); and to meet legal obligations, including reporting duties around child sexual abuse material.

Who else sees it

Prompts and reference files are sent to the model provider that runs your generation — that transfer is the service itself. Beyond that we use processors for hosting, object storage, payments, transactional email and error reporting. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your prompts or output to train models.

How long we keep it

Generated files are deleted after the retention window shown on your plan — 90 days on current plans. Ledger entries are kept as long as accounting law requires, because they are the record of what you were charged. Closed accounts are deleted within 30 days apart from those records.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction, deletion, or a machine-readable export, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to privacy@sedance.app. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

One essential cookie holds your session. Analytics, where enabled, is privacy-preserving and sets no cross-site identifiers. We run no advertising trackers.
