What a Seedance clip costs, by model, resolution and length — in credits you pay and in dollars we pay upstream. Our margin multiplier is 2.8×, stated openly, because a buyer comparing routes needs the per-second number to compare anything at all.

Credits shown for Seedance 2.5, standard tier. Where a provider bills input duration as well as output, reference-video seconds are added to the billable total — this table assumes text-to-video with no video references. Rates from pricing/benchmarks/baseline-estimates.json, which are published vendor figures rather than our own measurements.
Methodology
Retail credits are computed as (provider cost × failure buffer + overhead) × margin, rounded up to the next credit. Provider cost implements each route's real billing shape, including input-video seconds where the provider bills them and per-request token add-ons where they apply — headline per-second rates are not comparable across providers without that adjustment. Upstream rates are currently transcribed published figures rather than our own measurements. The benchmark run replaces them, and this page carries the measurement date when it does.
Questions
- How much does a 30-second Seedance 2.5 video cost?
- Slide the duration to 30 seconds above to see the exact figure at each resolution. As a rule, 30 seconds costs about six times a 5-second clip, because video models bill per output second.
- Why show your own upstream cost?
- Because every other credit table in this category obscures the underlying rate, and a buyer comparing providers needs the per-second number to compare anything at all. The margin covers payment fees, billed retries, storage, egress and moderation.
